Thinking of visiting soon!!

So im adding a few new cities to my touring route. Where would be a good area to stay if i visit killeen/BCS? Any/all info would help. Thanks a bunch.

you may wanna decide which one to visit
killeen and bcs are over 2 hrs apart from each other

Im just asking for info on both cities as i may decide to visit both very soon. I drive long drives so that doesnt bother me.
