Kansas City, MISSOURI was founded 43 years BEFORE Kansas became a state. Both named after a local native american tribe.

Please enlighten us further as to which side, MO or KS has the better BBQ? I ask about "better" and not "best" because y'all know the best BBQ is south of the Red River in the Lone Star State.

Well this native Texas gal visits KC. And the bestest bbq there is Jack Stack in martin city..the suburbs of KC mo
