An unofficial update from the slubby

https://www.eccie.net/showthread.php...post1061750175

Major changes at ECCIE.

Historically, ECCIE has always been a review and Discussion site. That has not changed.

As of now, Bio Pages and Weekly/Weekend Updates have been removed entirely from the site.

Advertising by female accounts will no longer be allowed.

The Co-ed Discussions and other forums will be highly moderated for content that can be seen as basically advertising. We know this is subjective and ambiguous! Flirtatiousness is fine, posts that attract attention are okay; outright advertising or solicitation is not! It could produce a short loss of posting privileges.

Encounter Reports will stay the same since ECCIE has always been a review site and it does not solicit an arrangement.

ladies may want to refer to the private forum for more details and answer to questions. For the ladies who just want to post updates and build a Bio Page, ECCIE is not for you.

Change is inevitable in this chaotic world of ours. and I know that I am as frustrated and disappointed as each of you are, but the times have dictated changes for now, and those changes will be permanent for the foreseeable future.

Thank you for understanding.

What? What happened? I've been under the weather. Went to sleep yesterday morning after peeking in here. Sleept all day and all night. I now just back here first time since and this is the first thing I see. The site is also more diminutive. There are things missing. OKAY! CONFESS!! Who BROKE IT? Is my name Rip Van Winkle? Cause that's what I feel like right now!!

So if even the bio pages are gone how are you going to find someone to review and discuss?

All women here need to adapt a no review policy immediately!

My guess would be this thread will get locked nd comments will be edited for the staff and owner protection

The new law is aimed specifically at sites that advertises elcetronically.

Exit question: Are the classifieds of the Observer and FW Weekly still available? Back in the day, that's where we found our friends-for-an-hour.

Exit question 2: Would the new law apply to a privately administered mailing list, eg., the TSML, or, if they still exist, a Yahoo! group?

Reviews still going in AMP section. I wonder if this will make AMPs more of a target?
Personally if I can’t post an update or have a profile I don’t want anything written about me. Before all this women were allowed to have a no review policy but were stripped of their privilege to have a bio page/showcase and the ability to post ads . If they would like to do that anyways then I should be able to decide for myself if I want a review written about me.

I have plenty of reviews already.

Of course the men would want to continue to write reviews to list rates and services and details .

Anyone with a male account can purchase premium access. These changes are temporary to try and please and protect certain people . I deserve the right to protect myself as well and minimize any target that might be put on me. Yes I know the laws are aimed at website owners but it doesn’t mean that LEO won’t try for the low hanging fruit if it helps them get what they really want .
im just trying to figure out what a "snow bunny" is still...

Pr, pt yet another way, this site has always been here as a source of information; if they wanted to use information here, they could have done so at any time regardless of the new law.

As far a slow-hanging fruit goes, they've always focused on streetwalkers and commercial establishments (Asian and otherwise). They are the most visible. Absent other criminal activity, some of which we can't discuss here, or complaints from neighbors, there are very few arrests of independent women working out of hotels or residences.

Nothing has changed from Saturday except that there are now limitations on where you can advertise. LE didn't suddenly get a hard-on for hookers because of that.

But, as I forgot to add in my previous post, any risk here is yours, and you should manage it as you see fit.
