Recommendations for Casinos/Lodging in Dubuque IA

I will be in Dubuque IA next week and I would like to stay in a nice casino hotel. Which one is the best?
Any information would be appreciated!
There is really only one casino with a real hotel, and that is Q Casino which has a Hilton Garden Inn attached.

So there is that, and there is The Q is owned by the City. Getting comped to stay for free is more difficult, but not impossible here. Getting a nicer suite is also difficult.

Diamond Joe is a Boyd Casino. No hotel, but will comp based on theo. They have agreements with various hotels in the area.

Do you have a Boyd host? Can you verify your play? The answers to these questions makes this easier for me to answer as I could make a telephone call to either, and set you up, but predicated on your history, and my call.

Lastly, the one place a DCI agent, or agents, is/are always on site, is in an Iowa casino.

A word about the DCI. They are good at what they do. Very good. Unlike the local PD or Sheriff's Department.

This is the most up to date information I have. I play high limits baccarat, and neither casino in Dubuque offers this. Although I'm familiar with both places, but have not been to either for quite some time.

Maybe just stay at a place like this:

Dubuque is actually an interesting small city. A lot of old, quiet money in Dubuque. A couple of above average restaurants, although most don't know about them, and one you're not getting granted entrance unless as a guest, or reciprocal privileges. They used to have a fantastic Italian place, but the patriarch passed away, and I think it has gone downhill since then. It's still probably o.k,., and probably especially o.k. since it is priced inexpensively, but don't get your hopes up for hole in the wall, authentic Sicilian in the Bronx. The Bronx is actually where the patriarch came from. Sicily, to NYC, to Dubuque, in a fairly odd twist.
Any chance you are stopping in Cedar Rapids?
