Tyler restaurants

I'm not familiar with the East Texas area, but what are some good restaurants up that way, particularly steakhouses or Mexican cuisine?

In Tyler, my vote for best ...
Steakhouse = Dakota's
Mexican = Villa Montez

Dakota's is better than any steakhouse I've been to in Houston or Dallas. And I've had the best both those cities have to offer. Like I don't want to over hype it, but it is excellent.

Villa Montez is a cool unique tyler gem as well.

Happy Fish House is very good...Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
