Houston Restaurant Weeks are once again here. This is a great chance to experience some of Houston’s finest restaurants at a great price. Selected 4 course meals are only $35 per person and $5 of that is donated directly to the Houston food bank.

Last night I took my parents to the Post Oak Grill and we each enjoyed:

- Roasted Lobster Crabmeat Bisque with Cognac Essence

- Papaya Crème de Cassis

- Center Cut Filet Mignon, Lobster Imperial, Jumbo Asparagus and White Cheddar Potatoes in a Light Cabernet Sauce

- Strawberry Three Color Chocolate Mousse Cake with Homemade Chocolate Sauce

Invite your family and your friends for Houston's largest charity dining event. Feast on gourmet meals for a fraction of the cost at over 125 of your favorite Houston eateries. Participating restaurants pledge to donate $3.00 per special lunch and $5.00 for special dinner to the Houston Food Bank.

Thanks for the heads up Brooke!

If you go to Shula's, beware of the creme brulee! It SO freaking HUGE!!! Don't just order one for yourself, if you do eat the whole thing alone, you are risking a diabetic coma. :-)

supposed to have those funny accents over the U and one of the e's, too.
According to rumor, creme burlee is especially tasty while riding in a go fast boat in the company of an UTR elite blonde!
