I am pretty sure it was Maria I saw, last week
at the dollar store near San Mateo & Zuni

she was wearing an ill fitting pair of jeans
low on the waist, long in the crotch, and tight

the neck tattoo was prominent, in the public setting

I was trying to get a close enough look
to determine if she was indeed who I thought
without being too obvious about scrutinizing her
she noticed me looking, and met my gaze, but discreetly, not blatantly
she seemed to be saying...

you like what you see? come talk to me

...it was, actually, surprisingly, kinda tempting
that’s how bad it’s gotten

I reminded myself of our date
it was yrs ago, pre boob job, I think
and no, I did not write a review

she had initially delivered some attempt
but quickly lost patience and abandoned all effort

and I remembered our subsequent encounter, many months later
as she approached, I recognized her
she asked, want a date?
I said no. you ripped me off once, that’s enough for me
she whipped out her phone
and made a big show of recording me leaving her and driving away
big, incriminating evidence, I guess

my impression of her is...

a hot blooded, hot tempered bitch
who could be fun, if the stars align just right, but...
way too volatile and inconsiderate to play with

Oh yeah, she's a major bitch. Met up with her once and she did not want to do half the things she promised. Yeah, she did get a boob job and her hubby is in prison.
