And what supporting evidence do you have for such a statement?
CDC was part of the political negotiation about 2-3 years ago. The result was a big budget cut and crippled CDC. We are currently experiencing result of the budget cut from it. You can search this and find stories on where money went (if you don’t know it). CDC can’t effectively tackle outbreaks anymore.

Don't say 2-3 years ago. You gonna get parties pointing fingers at each other.

It’s a simple fact. And Trump’s piss poor speech spooned the markets even more than they were already spooked.

This thread is worse than having to listen to the Democratic debates, a Presidential speech, Chuck Shumer's latest faux pas and an AOC Twitter rant.

Check your facts folks.

We will start see the results of this policy next week.

The CDC has failed us before:

And failing us now:

They’re a joke, just like this Administration is a joke (this coming from a non-fanatical Republican). The President and CDC’s ineptness will cost lives, and that is the saddest thing about any of this, now pandemic, and National Emergency (finally).
CDC did well with SAR, swine flu, and Ebola. Did you forget that? CDC had plenty of resource back then.

CDC+$$$==Ability to do something.
CDC-$$$==What we have now.

I speculate that there was already a company or companies lobbying for someone or persons in political power to reject those kits in favor of funneling money back to someone’s campaign in exchange for our government agreeing to grant the rights to develop and sell those kits back to the CDC. Capitalism at its finest.

It’s a theory, yes. But a plausible one.
