Asian Goddess in Kansas City in coming week! It’s happening
Hello everyone, my trip to Kansas City still happening, please I still need suggestions with the hotels and restaurants. Thanks in advance! Can’t wait to see your beautiful City.
What kind of restaurant and what part of town are you looking at?
I love variety of food so it’s just whatever near the hotel love. They said club plaza is good place to stay but I don’t know the other part of town in Kansas City.
Thanks for the response love.
The Plaza is good it's a central location that everyone knows. Make sure that if you do incall you don't stay somewhere that needs keycard access per floor. Right there is a Capitol Grill, but they're a high end chain. Jack Stacks BBQ is there (and KC is well known for BBQ). Jax is seafood and cocktails. Several good restaurants and cocktail bars right there in those buildings. JJ's, The Parker, etc.
KC is interesting in that there's an entertainment district every .5 to 1.5 miles from the river all the way down to 75th St along Main St and Broadway Blvd (although the name of the street might change for a few blocks, which can be confusing). Just up the road from the Plaza is Westport and you'll find Julep, a fantastic cocktail bar with decent food. There's Beer Kitchen for more American fare, Char Bar, a bunch of other restaurants. Just past the north end of Westport is 39th St, which has Q39 BBQ, an Arab restaurant, pizza, and I think sushi (?).
Another Mile up and a little West in Southwest Boulevard is Boulevard Brewery, the largest brewery in MO after Budweiser, and MUCH better beer. Go east instead and your in the Crossroads, which is just filled with restaurants. I recommend Extra Virgin, The Reiger, and Anton's (farm to table). Under The Reiger is Manifesto, an old Speakeasy bright back to life. The Green Room is good if you want to experience some jazz but I don't think they serve food. Tapcade is bar food with old school arcade games. Another half mile North and you're in Power and Light, which is super touristy but there's seafood, proteinl bar, steak, Irish pub, pizza, a Guy Fiery's, and much more.
Another Mile and you're in the River Market. Harry's Country Club is a whiskey bar with good American food. There's a little bit of everything in the Market, including some New Orleans inspired and your usual Farmers market stuff.
Cross the river on Oak St and you'll be in Northtown. I recommend Chicken and Pickle if you like games you can bring a friend to, and Repeal 18th for whiskey, cocktails, and some awesome meatballs.
And that's just the MO side heading north!
What days are you planning on being here? (Hoping my family trip won't interfere!)

Hello everyone,
I am so sorry to inform you that my travel to Kansas City is going to get canceled as my Government in the Philippines gaves us 72 hours to close the airport and I have to travel back home today even though I just got here in the United of States 2 days ago. I really am sad about this situation but I don’t have any control of it. When the shut down is done in my country I will come back in the US. I really wanted to meet a lot of friends in your City and had fun. I have to go to the Houston airport now to go back home. Thank you for understanding.
Get your sexy ass back here as soon as possible.
