Governor Greg Abbot gave an interview yesterday in which he stated rules will be relaxed for additional businesses such as gyms on the 18th of May. He explicitly said that no date has yet been set for bars and clubs. The reason he gave is that he does not see how bars will enforce social distancing. So even if clubs reopen sometime in the near future, expect rules in place like Club Onyx such as not being allowed to approach the stage, keeping at least 6 feet away from all employees, which of course means no private dances, or even socializing with dancers at your table.
