I'm guessing the Protests will wane after next week's funeral.. CO-VID will slowly disappear on its own, or we will be numbed to it, and not really think about it. my prediction? it will hang around in a mild form, like a seasonal flu. I don't think it will roar back, cause more shutdowns, or anything significant. I expect Texas Schools will be stocked with students, more hand sanitizer, maybe a bit of cafeteria-distancing, possibly a 2 week vacation at an otherwise off-time, to alleviate virus concerns.
