Covid alert added to phones

For people who noticed the phone service issues earlier this week....The tech goods were putting Covid 19 trackers on phones at this time. That is what caused the service glitch. You can find the covid tracker under settings - Google settings on android phones...not sure where on i phone as i don't have one. This could be an issue if you don't want your location being known to family members

I believe you still must install an application to support this function....

Guess what folks, your phone always knows your location...

I saw that...wow!

The Covid-19 tracker became part of both Android and Apple OS several weeks ago. I saw a link to a news article on face book. I checked it out. It was where the article said it was on my phone. The article said that there wasn't an official "App" available to use the feature yet. I tried to post the link to a few Facebook groups and got put in FB jail.

I shut my tracker off after update. Just a way big brother can track you.

Yep, BIG issue for the black sedan/helicopter/boogeyman crowd! I quit checking my closet and under my bed long, Long, LONG ago!! Some people just never grow out of it!

I’m a lot more worried about ego infected, self righteous cops busting down my door with blazing Glocks only to figure they fucked up later than “unca sugar” reading my emails, texts or monitoring my calls!

Totally agree Dumars. I get being careful but the paranoia on here gets out of hand. Big brother isn't going to all that expense and trouble to find a few middle aged guys so they can charge them with some minor offense. Be safe, see reputable friends and have fun.
