HELP ME OUT

Why do girls call this Place Ecky? Shouldn't the "C: sound like an "s" ? Any internet grammar scholars care to chime in/.
How do you pronounce Rebecca?
i before e except after c!
Google "Neccie" and listen to the pronunciation of the word. No "s" sound.

I call it Eccie (eckie) and I’ve been here the longest so I get the deciding vote lol
I thought it was pronounced like E C
I thought it was initials for something. I call it E-C-C-I-E

Iggy,(short for irishgringo) it's Escort Client Community Information Exchange or something like that I believe. Pronounce each of the initial letters forming ECCIE as it sounds for the original word. Thus....ICKY. Just kidding, iggy. I do pronounce it same as NLN.

Does it really matter so long as we can hobby safely? And share the good, the bad, but hopefully not the ugly. Hehehe
