provider no show. what would you do ?

so i get a text 15 min after my appointment is to start.
sorry I had another appointment go longer i won't be ready for another 45 min.
I got a good visual there. total buzz kill.
asked me if thats ok and I said no another time but would keep my appointment if its an issue.
and no response .
im I being an ass here?

I look at flakes a little different. You got bumped by a regular or someone who offered her an extra $30. It happens, but imagine she showed up. Imagine she squeezed you in. Image the service you would of gotten? She didn't have the common decency to let you know other plans have come up.

I use flakes as an opportunity to get out of the house. Find a new restaurant in a neighborhood I have not been to.

Order a beer and a burger. When the food comes spread the $$$ on the bar in front of you with the food/beer. Snap a photo with your phone. Sent photo of money, food, beer to providers who flaked, thanking her for flaking!

Take your$ where it's respected and appreciated, don't be a fool a give her another chance after that

Call someone else.

Plan b, c, and d when necessary. Don’t reward her in professionalism with business in the future. She knew the risk. Your business and time wasn’t worth it to her. Find a lady that doesn’t have the same mantra.

Has happened to me about 6 times, they flake in the last 15 minutes....and it isn't like I'm just across town, it's usually a few hours drive for me. Big clue is when the response time to your initial emails is long or almost non-existent...I know people get busy or take breaks or vacations but I've had the best luck with providers that return texts or emails in a timely fashion.

There's hundreds and thousands more out there to choose from, reward the ones who deserve it.

Yes, you did it right. I had one who went dark after I showed up in the right location. 2 hrs latter she got back with me. Said she was doing community service. Like why even make an appointment and I wrote her off. A week later another guy was robbed at gun point by her so called friend, at her incall. If she is a flake, anything can or will happen.
