Hotel recommendations

I'm going to be visiting LV after the first of the year for a couple nights. My plan to visit this summer was destroyed by the pandemic, so I'm rescheduling.

I had previously planned to stay at Paris LV (I've stayed there before), but want recommendations of other options before I make my reservations at a similar price point.

I've never seen anyone wearing a LBD at Paris (maybe I'm looking in the wrong areas), but that's one thing I'm looking for.

Also, which strip clubs are good for high mileage dances?

Thank you in advance.

Is your visit midweek or weekend?
Another big room rate budget factor is if there is a big convention in town. So timing matters. Deals are better midweek. For example a weekend rate at Paris is equivalent to a midweek at Aria /Bellagio / Ceasars (unless there is a convention.)

Apples to apples for Paris will be
PLANET Hollywood, Ballys, Park MGM and NY NY.

As for strip clubs I can help you out on that in PM if you let me know what kinds of dancers you're looking for.

I'll be staying mid-week, probably Wed - Fri.

How can I find out about conventions?

You might want to read the news. All strip clubs are currently closed. Who knows after the first of the year. Almost all conventions are being cancelled. CES, which is in January, is cancelled.
Vegas means business dot com
Has a calendar. January is usually super packed. But ces is canceled. However there is shot show and world of concrete in Jan at the same time.
Strip clubs will be back but who knows when.
Palomino is fun and has already tried to come back.

Midweek I would try to step up your game from Paris.
Lots of deals midweek for nicer properties.

I'm expecting the virus to drop in importance after Nov 3, since neither party will be politicizing it anymore. The economy will begin to recover, and the economy will begin to re-open and recover.

As for stepping up my game from Paris, where would you recommend?

Again, watching the casino girls in action satisfies the voyeur in me as much as watching strippers. I figure to do both, but it would be easier to stagger back to my room after a few drinks if I'm staying in the same casino as the girls. I know HOW to spot them, just not where anymore.
That's going to be hard to predict right now with everything in Flux.
Just based on the room an properties a step up from Paris would be Aria, Ceasars, Cromwell (closed currently), Bellagio or at the other end of the strip Wynn and Venetian.
For your purposes though the mid tiers (Paris, PHo, nyny,) may be better anyway. I'd rather go on a date with a good friend than stay up late but that's just my taste. Have a great trip wherever you decide to stay

I drop in here from time to time and will assess on my next stay over. Probably pretty lame at the moment with even casino bars closed which is where all the action used to be.
