After conventions...Bill Maher "very nervous" bitten will lose.

After the conventions Maher is very worried about bitten shoe in victory. Is 2016 about to repeat itself?? The democrapic convention was a complete disaster...nothing to inspire Americans as the Republicans' convention was. I hope LD and the rest of the left is ready to chock to death on crow!!
Bill Maher Reveals Why He’s ‘Very Nervous’ Biden Will Lose; He’s Not Alone as Left Begins to Panic
Posted at 12:30 pm on August 30, 2020 by Mike Miller

HBO’s Bill Maher is “very nervous,” America. “Feeling less confident” than he “did a month ago” about Joe Biden’s chances of beating Donald Trump in November. As the Biden Express begins to go off the rails, the acerbic self-anointed political analyst is far from alone.

Even worse, in Maher’s assessment — or better, depending on one’s political persuasion — he had nothing but compliments for the recently-completed Republican National Convention, during a Friday discussion with MSNBC’s “TheReadOut” host Joy Reid.

As reported by Fox News, Maher said he believes the confidence displayed by Republicans will prove effective in the remaining weeks of the campaign — and even his own enthusiasm for Biden is waning.

“I don’t know if this stuff works, but it might. I am feeling less confident about this — maybe it’s just their convention bump got to me, but I’m feeling less confident than I was a month ago.”

Maher explained to Reid his new lack of confidence in Biden’s chances is not only based on the strong performance of the Republican Party at its convention, but also due to the “conformity” he sees within the Democrat Party. “People do have their own minds,” he fretted.

“People do have their own minds. I’ve never been a fan of conformity. I’ve never been a fan of, ‘We all wear pink on Wednesday,’ we all have to do this, we all have to say this, we all have to do this then. I don’t bend the knee and I get that people are pushing back at that kind of stuff.”

Maher could not have been more right about Democrat conformity.

From the obvious daily talking points, which Democrats dutifully trot out to the nearest camera to parrot, to Nancy Pelosi and House Democrats, draped in African garb, robotically kneeling in unison in protest of the death of George Floyd, groupthink, “groupspeak,” and “groupbehavior” have become mainstays of today’s Democrat Party.

Unlike liberal media lapdogs who feigned horror Thursday night over the “unmasked horde of irresponsible Trump supporters packed like sardines onto the White House Lawn,” Maher saw the optics displayed by Republicans from a different perspective than most Democrats.

“To portray that idea that ‘I would rather die on my feet than live on my knees,’ yes, I think that is attractive to a degree. They looked optimistic; they looked like the country isn’t falling apart, even though the country is falling apart. And optimism very often wins elections.”

Maher was right in one respect: optimism very often wins elections.

But he was not only wrong in another respect, he was wrong about why he was wrong. The country is not falling apart — in spite of the continuing efforts of the rioting anarchists to the contrary.

Moreover, Maher’s implication that the country is falling apart because of police brutality against black men, “systemic racism,” and “white privilege” is a left-wing canard, foisted upon the public solely for political reasons: to get Trump the hell out of the White House.

Bill Maher is not alone in his nervousness about an election that will occur in 65 days. His waning optimism is seeping into the mindset of the Left as a whole, even among many liberals who are afraid to admit it — much less say it out loud.

As I reported yesterday, one other nervous liberal is left-wing activist, documentary filmmaker Michael Moore, who on Friday posted a warning to fellow Democrats on Facebook.

“Sorry to have to provide the reality check again, but when CNN polled registered voters in August in just the swing states, Biden and Trump were in a virtual tie. In Minnesota, it’s 47-47. In Michigan, where Biden had a big lead, Trump has closed the gap to 4 points. Are you ready for a Trump victory?

Are you mentally prepared to be outsmarted by Trump again? Do you find comfort in your certainty that there is no way Trump can win? Are you content with the trust you’ve placed in the DNC to pull this off? The Biden campaign just announced he’ll be visiting a number of states— but not Michigan. Sound familiar?

I’m warning you almost 10 weeks in advance. The enthusiasm level for the 60 million in Trump’s base is OFF THE CHARTS!

For Joe, not so much. Don’t leave it to the Democrats to get rid of Trump. YOU have to get rid of Trump. WE have to wake up every day for the next 67 days and make sure each of us are going to get a hundred people out to vote. ACT NOW!”

As you might recall, Moore issued a similar warning to Democrats in 2016. The only question is, will he be 2-0 after November 3?

In a related story I covered on Thursday, MSNBC’s Joy Reid, with whom Maher shared his concerns, had a “slightly different” takeaway from the Republican convention. In fact, Reid’s take was so “slightly “different,” she promoted an op-ed written by guest Elie Mystal as:

“The outrage and pathos of the Black people the RNC Convention trotted out to make white Americans feel good about white nationalism.”

While Maher and Moore were right in their assessments of where things stand in the battle between Donald Trump and the Republicans and Joe Biden and the Democrats, let us hope that bitter TDS-afflicted liberal “journalists” like Joy Reid continue to spew their bitter bile — right up until the polls close on November 3.

Something tells me we have nothing to worry about.
