WDSM & Pandemic

I know we are all tired of it and tired of talking about it, but since it is a part of our life's now, I gotta ask. lol
It is hard to keep up with out of state happenings, so please fill me in.
Is DSM opening up more? Are gyms and restaurants opening up?
I just don't want any issues before I head to town. Thank you for any input and your time!

Gyms and restaurants are currently open but bars in a few counties including Polk where DSM is were just ordered closed again. Hope to see you soon beautiful!

Cedar Rapids area is the same way unfortunately

All bars without a food license are currently closed in 6 counties which include Polk and Dallas (Metro Des Moines). Places WITH a food license (and 50% food sales) cannot serve alcohol after 10PM. So many of the "Bar and Grill" places are closing at 10. Tasty tacos should be ok, but might be drive through only where they have one.

pretty much the only thing closed right now are bars. so you should be good to go. we would love to give you an "Iowa Nice" treatment when you get here!
