Law Enforcement Surveillance - I Love Spa and Total Relax - Round Rock

Yesterday, the fine women and men of Round Rock law enforcement took a stand to protect the conservative Christian values of our fine community.

If you drive by I Love Spa or Total Relax in Round Rock you will see one of the tall and large camera systems mounted on a trailer directly across the street. Some else reported the same thing in another thread.

I wonder if the camera is for the reasons your are insinuating. Now about all I know about "law" is that there is such a thing as a speed limit and stealing is illegal unless you are a president. Isn't this set up sort of like the cameras on signal lights that people object too because one can't confront their accuser. Anyway,, what will it prove. Are massages illegal in RR? Even if they record you going into a MP, what proof do they have that you did anything illegal? I sort of wonder if the cameras are for something else and TT is pushing his well worn panic button too soon again.

TT may be gerenally fos, but if there is one of those trailers in close proximity, I would at least be concerned about why.. They are expensive, and deployed for one reason, and it's not speeding tickets. It's to deter crime in an area the police are concerned about, and record evidence in the event that doesn't work.

Now, they could be experiencing crimes such as car break-ins,, vandalism, etc, but if they are set up in a way to record license plates of who goes in and out of the AMP, it could easily be used in a raid. As you say, massages aren't illegal, so that alone would be useless. If however, the spa is reckless enough to put cameras in the rooms (dumbest idea ever but some do) then if they raided and got their hands on the camera footage, finding the identity of the guy is a lot easier if you have the license plates of the cars that were there. It's still a legal reach, but probably enough to get some guy to talk with a promise of going easy in him. Personally, I wouldn't feel comfortable visiting with that damn thing watching the place.

Which probably means the spa has been bitching about the amount of “protection” money the police demand during these covid times... just a show of force, pay up or we will really hurt you...

I agreed with Stikiwikit. It's not illegal to get a massage. I'm innocent until proven otherwise.

I am going to going on a limb here, one day treesnot is going to piss off the group that owns a bunch of these amps he focuses on. Some how they will find out who he is. Maybe by watching cars or he will slip up with a comment to a girl. He could be messing with a bull. Not wishing him harm, just saying i would be careful. You are obviously only a keyboard tough guy.
