Just noticed the banner for this place. Seems like a good time. has anyone ever been or know anyone that has.

I have never been to one of those places, but I am told that it is a huge upsell once you arrive. The shuttle takes you to resort and there are ladies for u to pick from except if u have the economy package u get the leftovers and she will not stay in your room unless u upgrade with the resort. U will get laid but more like a "hurry and get this over session" unless u are tipping generously.

The ladies want to be tipped and bought watered down drinks to make their money. The person I know did not go to that place but he said it would be cheaper and prolly more fun to just take a travelling lady with you. He also said the ladies all go after the biggest tippers and they try to get guys into bidding wars. Not my cup of tea.

But if someone would go and report back I would gald to hear their opinion.

This is not true of Oxygen Retreat, from reports I have researched and from personally speaking at length with the owner of the resort.

I have been trying to plan one of my "bucket list" items and have pretty much settled on Oxygen Retreat. Here are a number of threads around ECCIE about the resort:

As for the costs, the total costs are the room price plus coupons. Tipping is NOT ALLOWED at Oxygen Retreat. Each coupon is reportedly a single pop (not sure that report is true) except for the overnight coupons.

Basically for about $1,000 per day, you can have two girls during the day and one more for overnight.

The coupons are the method of tipping. There are "not right now" type coupons when three are willing and you only want one of them (tip the other two with a "not right now" type of coupon), etc.

The owner of Oxygen Retreat selects the ladies, and is very strict about resort policies. Tipping a girl with cash can get her fired.

FYI: Prostitution is not illegal in the Dominican Republic.

I also am still interested in others' experience of the location, but based on my research since May, Oxygen Retreat seems to offer the best banging for the buck.

I'll stick with Costa Rica. Much cheaper, incredible fishing and the women are smoking hot.

Will do, still researching since it is a "bucket list" item and I want it to be fantastic. The review from the guy with over 100 reviews definitely caught my attention. The conversation with the owner of Oxygen Retreat was very clear as to how it works, and what he explained is consistent with the review mentioned.

You can bet that if I do take the plunge (as I hope to do before "ecckkkkk" thud), a full novel will be written as a review.
