Where to stay in Shreveport Louisiana Bossier

Haven’t been to Shreveport in awhile. Usually stay at Margaritaville casino hotel. Past year I now only book with choice hotels.
Thinking East. How is the area?
I love dressing up and going to fancy restaurants with cute outdoor area.
