What is considered “upscale”?

Just wondering about what folks here consider “upscale “ when it comes to hobby locations? I have had providers tell me their “upscale” locations are roach motels (Economy Inn, Motel 6) and /or houses in the hood.

Maybe I am too picky, but there are some areas of town (LR) I refuse to go to, and am tired of being asked to shit hole motels to play.

Thought?

IMO, I would say Embassy Suites, Crowne Plaza, Doubletree, Hilton Garden Inn first come to mind.
There's variables to take in consideration. If it's a booty call more or less during the day. I don't care about the location as much if I've seen them before. If someone is traveling and charging top dollar then that's another matter.

If they are throwing around the word "upscale" as far as hotels, I would say boutique hotels.
  • Little Rock Marriott
  • Capital Hotel
  • The Empress of Little Rock
And my personal favorite, where I spent a lovely three hour tour with you know who....
  • The Ron Burgundy Hotel

I feel that the older you get, the more you are "picky" in your hotel choices. I know I am.
Upscale to me is ambiance... A place that is capable of setting the mood for an incredible encounter. An environment that instantly puts you at ease and reflects the special occasion that visiting with a provider should be. A companion who clearly shows she has gone above and beyond the ordinary.

It can be difficult to replicate while on the road, even with the nicest hotels. I do my best by bringing what I can! Drinks, candles, speakers for music...

Mood being as important as it is in this hobby, a sketchy and/or seemingly dangerous location can pretty much throw cold water on the old libido. It's hard to concentrate on enjoyment when you have to keep checking your back.

It's worth it to me to pay a little more for safety, cleanliness, and freedom from hassles.

Upscale is kind of a subjective term but, yeah, when I think upscale, I'm at minimum Holiday Inn, Marriot, Hyatt, etc. If they say luxury, she's out of my price point.

My .02 is so long as it's within the common area of hotels and it appears that I won't get stabbed I'm good. As for in call to their place, I've seen some rougher areas but they've all been pretty cool. Been to a couple of dicey apartment complexes but all the cars looked well kept and figured it's good.

Upscale usually means the place doesn't charge by the hour!

The Burgundy was nice even when it was a Best Western. Burgundy used to have an excellent Italian restaurant. Not sure what is there now.

Oops! Had no clue it was a violation to demonstrate what I define and have created as an upscale incall. I thought that was the topic of this thread?

I just put it in my avatar. I hope that’s ok!
