Yep this happened to a friend of mine back in Sept. I was told that most girls belong the a service and this is standard practice for one girl to show up and ask for money and say the real girl will be along shortly only to not show up.

Next time they ask for gas money, respond with "Why should I? You're not even the girl in the pictures". They have literally nothing to lose whatsoever, and if they can sucker you into giving them money for essentially just showing up, they will.
