I've given myself some time to think over what I am going to say because I'm not out to stir up drama. I like to be pretty circumspect about what I say about people because I am conscious that this is business and bad reputations can harm business for a long time in this community.
To understand where I am coming from, know that I walked out a three hour appointment about 90 minutes in to it because it became clear that it just wasn't going to work out between us. I left the entire donation, didn't argue or confront and just said this isn't going to work out and left.
Communication was okay - email only, which is kind of weird, but whatever. I came bearing vino gifts as requested. After I arrived, she pretty much never spoke, and spent most of the time either laying there passively ignoring me, watching television, drinking wine or running into the bathroom. There was no IOP whatsoever - dead fish boring. After trying to warm her up some, I finally just broke down and asked what she liked. I got the impression that she didn't know how to answer that particular question. Some more foreplay and I just decided that I'd bag up and get this nonsense over with. I do so, and she actually starts scooting away from me. At that point, I had enough and left.
I was going to try to set quietly her up with a lady mentor, someone with a good reputation that I don't have any connection to. But the general wiseass response I got from my email trying to feel her out as to whether or not she was nervous or something, I decided it wasn't going to be worth the time for anyone involved.
Unless she vastly different with me than anyone else, she isn't going to make it in this business. Particularly at a $300/hr price point.

EL, that's the kind of info that would help someone make an informed decision. I suspect you were an extreme victim of YMMV, but nonetheless, she exhibited bad behavior. She won't last long if that's the business model.

Well ordinarily I don't mine sweep for you folks, but clearly I did this time. I also don't ordinarily publicly comment on my encounters, beyond referencing someone being a nice lady. But this was the only instance I have ever had where I would say that I had a bad time. Perhaps I've just danced between the raindrops all these years, or perhaps I've just been significantly more careful who I spend time with than this particular lapse of judgement. At any rate, I'm hoping for all of our sake that this was just a one-off situation.
