I'm starting this topic here because of the vast amount of amateur mongering videos that were hosted on pornhub. I know there are at least a few members here that had channels too.


Sadly, looks like cancel culture has officially taken the porn industry by storm:

This is from 2 weeks ago but I'm just hearing about it now, so I don't know if most of the content is still gone or if it is back again. I didn't see any threads started on tbis topic, so figure either people don't care or (like me) didn't know.


Just wanted to see if anyone else is upset about this. There was a ton of fantastic amateur artwork that was just thrown into the internet's proverbial bonfire - just another way in which we can't have nice things anymore.

Meh, PH is just one of many and it really isn't all that great. If PH is still worth a shit it will survive if not then so be it something will take it's place.

They still have the content that is "gone", but as far as I'm aware, they won't be restoring access to it unless they get signed releases (I assume verified by checking IDs) from everyone appearing in the content.

-is an adult
-consented to sex
-consented to appear in porn

The major concern in that regard for creators is that the credit card processors won’t work with them.

This has been an issue since fosta/sesta.

Several of my all time favorite POV scenes have been scrubbed from PornHub, some were filmed 10+ years ago. I imagine they won't be re-posted if PornHub can't track-down the female performers and get "release forms". I have seen a few "mainstream" and "retired" porn-actresses BCD and they say that girls "come and go" from that scene and I imagine PornHub won't be able to track down all the girls who they want to track down...

There are sites other than pornhub to host porn like xvideos or xhamster. Bad networks should be wreaked with prejudice, and that includes bad bankster networks.

Pornhub is not going to "track down" any of these people... The people who uploaded the videos are going to have to go to Pornhub with the participants' verifiable identities, submit release forms, etc., if they want their videos accessible on the site again.

They removed all content that they didn't own or otherwise have rights to post. You cannot just steal porn and post it anywhere you want. There are laws against that...the same laws that say you cannot write a website and post the Mandalorian for people to watch...the same laws apply to porn.

Plus the nauseating amount of hobbyists who secretly record us and put it on PornHub. I mean...that's a felony...multiple of them...and PornHub would only take them down if we could hire a lawyer.

Just pay for your porn. It's a simple solution. Then you can have all the porn your bank account can handle.
