Mortuary School in Arkansas

At the risk of sounding like a total psychopath, since my Pappy's funeral, I have become completely fascinated with the embalming process and the funeral industry in general. I don't personally know of anyone in the industry and was curious if anyone here might have any input on whether the online mortuary science/funeral directors program from U of A at Hope Texarkana or ASU Mountain Home is better.

I watch Ask a Mortician on youtube

https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCi5iiEyLwSLvlqnMi02u5gQ

She is very informative, But I do remember her saying how hard it was getting a internship.

She also has a blog.. maybe check her out to get more info?

Something tells me you could find a apprenticeship extremely easy, just make sure you visit them in person to drop off your "resume"
Show them the advantage of a warm blooded assistant vs cold flesh. IJS
