Question from a newbie

I have crossed into Juarez before so this was 10 years ago.

1. Should I drive my car across? Is it safe? I dont have an expensive one so get MX insurance right?

2. Parking near the massage parlors or street ok?

3. How long of wait to get back to the US in line?

I am getting dental work done so figure a side trip would be nice. I assume its mostly routine and am traveling during the day and use common sense. I have traveled extensively so am comfortable in 3rd world countries.

Take an Uber. Less expensive and ir is safe

I actually found an Juarez Uber forum. Was able to get to know a driver before I even arrived. He was happy to be my ride around town for two days.

What about back over the border? Uber as well?

I am curious about this as well. I will be in EP for a little over a month for work and I would REALLY like to cross over and sample some of what is available. Totally clueless as to the best sites in order to find independents, or which MPs are the best. Also clueless as to what is needed to cross in the Covid environment.

I have driven into Mexico before so I plan on just doing this with my own vehicle. I see the lines are long coming back into the US so Id rather be in my own ride relaxing.

It is safe to Drive. Early crossings are best. customs has a fairly faccuate border crossingstime. MP parking is safe havent had issues. MP is best value... Hahaha
