Hell, What can I say. The governor, legislature and apparently a majority of the ignorant residents of New Jersey didn't want the pipeline. Well, let them freeze, it should be their decision, not the federal government's. The pipeline terminates in New Jersey, and the land, which the pipeline is trying to cross using eminent domain, is owned by the state of New Jersey. It sounds like either the Biden and Trump administrations were on the wrong side of this issue, or there's something we don't know.

Plus we are approximately 2 months into a Biden administration and the world as we know it has not come to an end yet.
