Hey man, no disrespect. But if I thoroughly enjoy a sesh, I don't mind paying a little more to show goodwill in the future. That's just me though. Appreciate the discussion; I acknowledge I pay a bit over market on good service.

I understand, but do not agree with, your assumption that if certain people pay more you might assume that the providers will expect more from everyone. That is not necessarily true; it might be that they will push to get as much as they can from everyone, and recognize that some will pay more, and some won't. The Hobby is NOT like blackjack where the idiot at the end of the table who does not know when to hold and when to hit is messing up your cards.

Also, I think we must respect the right of each person to pay less than the "standard rates" for what he views as substandard service, and more than those rates when the service is better.

Speaking of the providers' expectations, isn't it more likely true that if the "standard rates" always applied, then wouldn't the providers have at least some incentive to skimp on service quality, IOP, or "extras" for those they liked because they knew that, regardless of quality, the fee would always be the same? As a Libertarian, I much prefer the free market to "price fixing" to provide everyone with the right incentives for quality to incentivize payment, and vice versa.

On a final note, it seems to me that during COVID, even while there may have been a scarcity of demand from hobbyists due to concerns about the spread of disease (or, maybe, because of the reduced demand), the standard rates for the massage+ have edged up by between $20 and $40; it could be a risk premium, or to cover costs for PPE and sanitization equipment, or just plain opportunistic price-gouging. I've seen others comment on this "price inflation," too.

So, now that we can at least see light at the end of the COVID tunnel, is there anyone who is thinking that perhaps we should hope - - or even expect - - to see rates return to their pre-COVID levels?

People can tip however they like. A few people being generous isn’t going to shift the market price, so chill. To be fair, a lot of these women are under paid having to deal with some of you disgusting individuals, but that’s just my opinion. If you don’t like the prices you are being charged, go somewhere else or find a better job. The choice is always yours. Stay classy mongers.
