Where to stay in Lubbock??

I'll be in town this week.3/22-3/25 And need to know any recommendations on discreet hotels to stay at while im there. I've never been to Lubbock before. What's good to eat ? Any good breakfast places ? Not ihop lol. I want Some good ol country cookin.

The Marsha Sharp corridor and SW Loop 289 area is the best place to stay in Lubbock. Avoid anything on I-27. Lots of stings happen there.
