Asian-American New Yorkers belong here. Everyone belongs here. Attacks against Asian-American New Yorkers are attacks against all New Yorkers.”


At his arraignment Wednesday evening, Manhattan Criminal Court Judge Paul McDonnell remanded Elliot to jail without bail and ordered medical attention for him. He’s due back in court Apr. 5. His Legal Aid lawyers released a statement urging the public “to reserve judgment until all the facts are presented in court.”
