You need to compare the studies done with Florida, not wearing masks and California, required everyone to wear a mask. It came out to be the same cases in both states

No, not convinced. So far the data in Texas is definitely still trending down, but it's also not clear to me that it has been long enough since the mandate ended for it to show up in the data. It seems to me all we can do is continue to watch the data. Anything else is speculation. However, it also seems to be true that Florida without mandates has done about as well as anywhere else, and so far the trend in Texas is in our favor.

Don't forget the flood of illegals from Central America. At least 10% of them are est. to have Covid and I don't think they are all being screened. Much less being treated or sent back.

Well, here it is the first week of April (4/5 specifically) and today Texas reported the fewest new confirmed cases since June 8 of last year. So yeah, the number of cases is really soaring. Just saying...
