Angry and black

Does it matter that there are over 1,000,000 police and low estimate of 500,000,000 interactions with distressed people that something will go wrong.
Maybe listen to the cops and don’t run around with warrants or heavy drugs in your system. Or maybe burn another city down.

There are less than 20 unarmed black men shot and killed by the police each year, but if you listen to the mainstream media, you'd think police are hunting black men in the streets.



What's never addressed is why are these individuals (regardless of race) doing illegal things which compel police to interact with them? If you're a mensch, the police are not going to harass you.



The individuals rioting and looting are disgusting. Protesting is one thing. Rioting and looting is not the way to go about it.

What's disgusting is we have a vice president who cheered looters and rioters and even wanted to go fund me to bail them out.

I agree with you and isn't it something no one ever mentions that. Think about it if a cop ask you for your cards do you fight with them and refuse to work with them? You are asking for ass whooping by doing that. Not all cops are bad. They have some kind of fight about every day.

Look up the FBI Hate Crime statistics for 2019. Quite interesting on which "hate crimes by race" are not mentioned.

Exactly. Don't be a moron and resist arrest and try to fight or escape. What is so hard about that? If you don't resist arrest, your chance of dying during a police encounter is basically zero. The chance of anything good happening from resisting arrest is also zero. The people who refuse to say this, or get mad at you for saying it, don't really care about preserving human life

People say that the George Floyd incident brought the races more together. That it's forcing a discussion. Bullshit....it's done nothing but caused more anger and resentment.

We’ve all heard of George Floyd and Daunte Wright — they’re national news stories that have sparked riots. Here are two names you’ve probably never heard of: Tony Timpa and Justine Damond.

Mr Timpa lived in Dallas TX. He had an encounter with police there several years before anyone ever heard of George Floyd. Police restrained him by placing a knee upon his neck. He said he couldn’t breathe and eventually became unconscious. The officers taunted Mr Timpa while he was “asleep”. Needless to say Mr Timpa never regained consciousness and was pronounced dead. Sound familiar?

Ms Damon lived in Minneapolis. Ma Damon actually called 911 herself because she heard a woman screaming and sounds of sex - she thought someone was being raped. Police arrived to investigate. At some point Ma Damond approached the squad car and startled the officers on the scene. One of them drew his weapon but eventually realized there was no threat and put it away. Unfortunately the other officer panicked and shot Ms Damon through the open window of the squad car, and she died twenty minutes later.

A cop killed a man by asphyxiation due to restraint by placing a knee on his neck. Another killed a woman because of a panic shooting. Yet Mr Timpa and Ms Damond are not nationally known names. There was no looting, rioting, or even actually peaceful protesting that occurred. I will give you three guesses why not, and the first two don’t count.

I’m not excusing police who use excessive force, but the point is that it isn’t racism that’s causing it.

what is going to happen is quite simple. Cops will be fed up and they will quit. Fine you say. Well the bigger issue is kids now that are seeing how cops are treated will never want to be a cop. Where does that leave us 10-15 yrs from now? Fucked is the correct answer. Thank the media and camera phones. People want to film everything. Not one time have I heard the media say "and this wouldn't have happened had the suspect not attempted to flee the scene" and you never will hear it. Media loves this shit.

I hate Trump, but this is the kind of absolute bullshit that makes someone like Trump electable. For every action, there's a reaction.
