Latest school shooting in Tennessee

No discussion on this here that I've seen. Curious about what happened.

it doesn't fit the normal narrative, so it's not getting a ton of coverage that I'm seeing.

Kid brought a gun to school, someone told the faculty, faculty called the cops, and the cops shot the kid when they went into the bathroom he holed himself up in. Weirder still, the whole thing went down after 3pm local time, which is the end of the day. No details on the gun or the student. Could have been a suicide by cop thing, could have been a gang thing, but if he was gonna shoot the place up or shoot himself, he had all day.

There were several other shootings in the area, both domestics and gang activity. So I'm leaning on gang activity. But we'll see if we get more details.

Yeah, latest I've read is his gun isn't the one that killed the cop, So what happened?

Cop's still alive, I guess they're saying that either he got shot by another cop, or he glock-legged himself.

they're making a point to call it a "officer involved shooting in a school" and not a "school shooting"

Kid was black, gun was a handgun, and he's the 5th kid, all of which were black, at that school to be shot this year, but maybe the first inside the school.

Don't know if the other 4 were shot by cops, or if it's gang related shit.
