architects ?

How do you make a living as an architect ? Unless you get the big commercial buildings or projects, it would seem to be a very difficult profession to get customers.

not really. there several types of architect.



the most common one is the housing architect. most of those are independent contractors.


commercial architect, now that one, thats like playing with the big boys, major league stuff. usually, those companyies hire architects with different specialties.


and finally, theres the marine architect. they design boats. some of them do build boats. some are independent contractors, others work in a major firm chasing down commercial contracts.
