You still might look to the North Side of the RR tracks.

Warrensburg still wide open, if you know were to look.

I travel to those areas. I'm bout an hour an 15-30 from Jeff city, and depending on if I'm stopping by to see a friend depends on which road I may travel. But I go through sedalua, Tipton, Warrensburg. I don't do car dates tho.
Agreed...there are some WONDERFUL utr’s in Columbia, Sedalia, and Warrensburg! And they are VERY dependable. They say what they’ll do and do what they say. They’re just a trek from the city.

The early fifties changed things after Brown vs. the board of education, because the segregation started to loosen up; not just in Sedalia but a lot of the other towns. Warrensburg, Tipton, Jefferson City and others along the East/West rail line, all became much more integrated and all of the houses just seemed to go away as people could make contacts better - to to better communications.
