Near miss or just paranoid?

Well thought about trying something new today. reached out to a few providers - only two got back to me in a reasonable time (less than a hour).
Communicated back and forth with both. Come to find out both were in Clive and working from hotels next to each other. One seemed to give a better vibe after a bit of texting so I choose her.
Set up a meeting time and showed up quite a bit earlier to scope things out.
Drove the lots of the two hotels plus the one in between. On my drive through saw one marked squad car and at the place of meeting there was a unmarked (white explorer, spot light and push bar). Panic sat in and I ghosted them.
I did reply saying something else came up.
Was I just paranoid or had a valid concern?

so not faulting you for trying out new talent but there's an inherent risk in reaching out to unknown new talent. That's why some of these old timers never get busted...cautious and research. I've seen hobbyists drop off the radar cause they were busted. just be careful

Even if pure coincidence better safe than sorry, especially with STG. Never seen either so can't help there.

Thanks a f...... lot piggy. I was hoping the first one was real but now you’ve squashed my dreams. I have largely quit doing the stg roulette but I did partake a while back. I thought my heart was going to jump out of my chest I was so nervous. Wasn’t that great. There was a time when I didn’t have a second thought about seeing one of the fly byes. I guess I was lucky.

The second gal does post a great deal. Keep hoping there is some intel out there for her on here. She reminds of someone I knew long time ago. I agree with Livn,if the spidey sense kicks in best to bolt. Better to be wrong and missed out on some great action rather than have something blow up on you.

The unmarked was probably a cop getting some side action on his wife. But agree, go with the gut and better to be safe than sorry.

FWIW, the explorer seems to always be parked there. It may be a deterrent or belong to one of the worker residents.

I kind of miss the stg finds. Actually, I’m not sure if I’ve found one off of stg. The backpage days though. Skyler and Sammie in CR come to mind. I think I made their car payments for quite awhile.

It’s all about risk mitigation. Stay frosty and if something doesn’t feel right move along. If you bolt, the worst that can happen is you don’t get laid. Ignore your gut and the worst case scenario can get a whole lot more dire.

I was hoping the 1st gal was real but her number shows ads from 4 or more different providers, so that red flagged me to stay away.
