Hi guys, I’m pretty new here.
What’s the main difference between AMP like lux vs a agency like LA?
I’m guessing the AMP you get a little massage before and after, and agencies it’s straight to business??
Thanks.

Studios have a more intimate setting (bed) versus the AMP's (massage table). I prefer studios for that reason, but I do miss the table shower when I go to a studio.

I am just speaking at a high level. There are obviously other differences, but I wouldn't consider any of them significant. I'm sure other mongers will chime in though.
IMO:

AMP PROs (In general):

*No scheduling or screening
*Lower cost
*Table shower

STUDIO PROs (In general)
*Higher average quality of Ladies
*Privacy and better room
*You almost always get your appointment on time with no bait or switch

There are reviews for Ladies in both places. In general MSOG is a given at a Studio, not nearly as universal in an AMP.

The above are generalizations and there are excellent quality Ladies at AMPs. I would also say that even if you have an appointment at an AMP you run the risk of not having it fulfilled. I would estimate that even with appointments about one time in six there would be a problem with availability or getting time cut short at an AMP.

There is a reason to use either at a given time.

Good luck!

Odd to see agreement in any AMP or Studio thread these days, but everyone who posted is right!
Studios are more private since it is an apartment. That is the main differemce other than the price. A lot of the girls are just ex AMP girls. When it was omly 10% more it was worth it. At the currents prices I think not.
For me I have been avoiding the amps ever since they got busted and reduced to the 2 or 3 that are now in play. Just not comfortable with sloppy 6th.
Some studio action but they are getting busy and pricey. So I am working on the fringes.

I prefer the studio, the only thing I miss about amps is the table shower..

Studio’s FTW!!

LA (Lovely Angels)has a rare Thai catholic by the name of Abby... currently my flavor of the month.
Coming from someone that left amps and went to the studios, I love the privacy of studio vs pulling up to a parking lot on a busy street while I miss the table shower a comfy bed make up for it

Sometimes they were so behind I had a provider who was literally still warm from the last session. I could tell there was an attempt at clean up but the whole situation put the provider in a position where she physically wasn't really ready for me. I never had that problem with Studios - at least they have a little time to prepare.

I don't want to imply this is every time but it was pretty awful the times it did happen.

there seems to be no generalization here to me. Quality is similar. It simply depends on who you want to see.

3. By higher average I mean just that. It doesn't mean the best of one is better than the best of the other.

But my point about average is that I've seen lineups (back when that was a thing) when there were some that there was no way I would accept. I've also had sessions in an AMP where I took a risk because I didn't plan and won and sometimes I lost. Never had a "lost" experience at a Studio. Again, just my experience and as I said before, I think there's a time and place to use either.
