Foreign nationals buying Hunter Biden’s artwork for up to $500,000 in order to buy influence with the senile Biden administration. Art is often used to bribe public officials in China, where the practice is referred to as "yahui" or "elegant bribery," according to the New York Times.
"In some cases, an official will receive a work of art with instructions to put it up for auction; a businessman will use it as the currency for a bribe, purchasing the art at an inflated price and giving the official a tidy profit," reported the Times in 2013.

REVEALED: The White House HELPED Hunter Biden reach a deal to keep buyers of his paintings listed for up to $500,000 confidential despite widespread concerns it could lead to bribery and influence peddling.
'The whole thing is a really bad idea,' ethics expert Richard Painter told the Washington Post, which revealed new details of the arrangement.
'So instead of disclosing who is paying outrageous sums for Hunter Biden’s artwork so that we could monitor whether the purchasers are gaining access to government, the WH tried to make sure we will never know who they are. That’s very disappointing,' tweeted ethics expert Walter Shaub.
'The idea’s that even Hunter won’t know, but the WH has outsourced government ethics to a private art dealer. We’re supposed to trust a merchant in an industry that’s fertile ground for money laundering, as well as unknown buyers who could tell Hunter or WH officials? No thanks,' the former director of the Office of Government Ethics in the Obama administration added.

What's even worse about this is that the buyers of Hunter Biden's art are free to remain anonymous from the public, but there's nothing stopping them from telling Hunter -- or Joe or Biden officials -- that they bought his art for some insane sum, nor publicizing it themselves.
People are buying Hunter Biden's art for the same reason that Burisma was willing to pay him so much money for his nonexistent expertise in the energy industry.

Update: Hunter Biden is expected to meet w/prospective buyers at 2 art shows w/his paintings. There is an agreement to keep the buyers’ identity secret but this could put the president’s son in front of his potential customers
