A good republican at last

A New Jersey state Republican resigned after his wife sent a racist e-mail to potential state candidate Carl Lewis who is an African American.

He said he and his wife did not share the same racial views and he resigned because of what she did.

He has honor and some big stones in my book.

Why does that make him "a good republican"? Sounds like a good American. I have to ask though if a candidate for governor has workers follow a black candidate around calling him an Uncle Tom, pelt him with Oreos, and refer to him as a (get this) Nazi should that candidate resign the contest?
