Why weren't the Rittenhouse shooting videos shown from the start?

Wow, those videos were awesome. It was an open and shut case of self defense and never should have been prosecuted.

Kyle's detractors can only say bullshit like "but he crossed state lines" and "but if he was black....." "He shouldnt have been there, only rioters were supposed to be there".

... WHY?

... HOW would the bullshit liberal media:
CBS, ABC, MSNBC, CNN and the newspaper outlets
ever be able to push their FALSE NARRATIVE
about the shootings - IF EVEERYONE COULD VIEW THE TRUTH.

Same way they couldn't SELL everybody on Trump/Russia collusion
IF they told everybody in-advance that it was ALL a made-up hoax.

Oh, uh, before I forget - ANY of you liberal lads see today
that CNN admitted that the whole thing was a made-up hoax.

Washington Post admitted this just the other day.

... The liberal viewers and readers WERE LIED TO and DUPED!
How do ya like that?

Is this ANOTHER Benghazi thread?

Or another case of a kid getting his mama’s gun and killing someone with it?

There were videos on this very site shortly after the events. I remember looking at them and saying "clear self defense" on the last two shootings. However, the videos at that time were quite unclear about the first shooting - Rosenbaum. I have been worried all along that the Rosenbaum shooting might not hold up as self defense. Apparently, there was enough evidence that it did hold up as well.

Also, Rittenhouse apparently did shoot and miss the guy that got him with the flying drop kick. There has not been a whole lot about that, but since that produced no death or injury, the lack of attention to it makes sense. (Even though it weakens the "everyone involved was white" argument. The drop kick guy is black.)

There has been a whole lot of calling folks "white supremacists" for years now. Have there been any cases where an innocent victim of such a charge has been able to win a defamation suit? Just wondering.. all this discussion of whether Rittenhouse might get rich and not a word about precedent that I have seen (other than the public figure/not a public figure angle...)

this is the guy that precipitated the second attack that led to 2 shot.
That guy was completely ignored in this trial...wonder why
Simply put this was a rush to judgment by an out of touch D.A. who had to placate the blacks and socialists. Whatever happened to true grit D.A.s who really got tough on real crimes? Instead these "new" D.A.s take a look at cases through a political prism and not through the rule of law. Americans need to wake up and elect D.A.s who are not political. I know that is an oxymoron. Maybe we need a way to appoint non-partisan D.A.s via a commission.

As for any defamation lawsuit, they are difficult to succeed in the U.S. The whole 1st Amendment thing is kind of a problem. Also, one could argue that Rittenhouse became a public figure once charged, so it would be hard for him to claim not being a public figure. Finally, it would be hard for him to prove any financial loss. He could sue for intentional emotional distress. If this happened in Europe, it would be much easier to win for Kyle.

All in all, I'm sure he will be taken care of by some type of guardian Angel that will offer him a job or multi-millions for the rights to his story. Hell, he might get his own show on OAN or Fox News

"....... Rittenhouse might get rich ...."
The lawyers will recover their fees for the criminal case as well as the civil cases .... and Rittenhouse may get 25-30%.

If I didn't know better, I would have thought he was dropped off to lose the case.
