Amarillo TX vehicle state inspection

I own a total clunker with 210k miles and a bad exhaust that won’t pass the state inspection straight. I’ve walked into dozens of mechanic shops and been turned down when I tell them the situation.. Does anyone have any ideas how I can get it to pass? Fixing it up would be a money pit but it drives fine from point A to point B!

Either spend the money to fix it or get a new vehicle. Don't expect respectable inspection locations to take the chance of losing their license. The rest of us don't want your failed inspection POS on the road.
