I am not from Dallas so I'm not sure what locals call uptown.It was at her apartment in north of Dallas Dallas area. When I say uptown, it means North part of a town. Sorry if it caused any confusion. Btw, she is about to move out of her current apartment. I believe she told me the Frisco area.

^^^ Yes, it can be confusing, just like New York City is the only large city I know of that calls ‘Downtown’ area ‘Midtown’, they consider Downtown is the lower part of the big city, whereas other cities consider downtown is the main, central
part of their city.

In Dallas’ case Uptown starts just on the north side of downtown at Spur 366 (Woodall Rogers Frwy) on it’s south end, Cedar Springs/Turtle Creek Blvd it’s western border, Blackburn St (just below Fitzhugh Ave) it’s northern boundary, and State Hwy 75 (freeway) it’s eastern border...McKinney Ave cuts thru the heart of Uptown...It is a high end area of upscale apartments, shops & restaurants, one of Dallas’ best in my opinion.

I wish guys would just state the closest major intersection when giving a destination.
