I saw a girl there about a week ago she looked like she was very young less then 5ft tall maybe 70 pounds very pretty face. Could not wait to get her little tits out for me to see and hold. The youngest I have seen in a long time she looked around 16. I know she's not that young but sure looked

I saw her once she is the owner. She's probably only about 4'8" without her heals on under a 100lbs. I thought she looked to young and challenged her age. She actually showed me her Texas ID name covered and she is in her mid 30's this was 2 or 3 years ago. Can't remember name of spa but it got closed down. She was not the owner there.
I overheard a conversation about the subamp business selling for 40k.
Does that sound right?
Yes, it seems the business costs well under $50K. How the valuation is accomplished is a bit of a mystery to me as there are really minimal tangible assets.

It all depends on how much the spa makes in a year which is a secret except to the owner. Places that make $100,000 to $150,000 sell for about $40,000 cash. Places that make more than that sell for much higher. The tangible assets have nothing to do with it.
AP, we agree that laundry machines and linens don't bring the $$. A subAMP with three ladies will generate between $500K and $1M annually and go from $0 to $300K+ annual rate in a matter of two months if the right reviews are written and advertising applied. Contrary, someone can lose all of the business in weeks with the wrong people. The individuals make this business. My argument is that the cost is low because it only takes renting a space, buying about $8000 of equipment, opening the door, and normal advertising, so there is little incentive to pay a lot for a business where the key people are leaving. IMHO that no shop earning a paltry $150K annually is being reviewed on this site

Vigilant17 I have to disagree with that part of or statement that says no Shop making $150K annually is being reviewed on this site. There are many making that and being reviewed. That's all 1 or 2 person shops make with exceptions. I agree 3 person shops make much more or the workers won't stay.
AP51, I see your point and respect your view. If there was a discussion that belongs alongside a beer, this certainly meets that definition. For example, is the number Gross or Net, House fee and Tips, or just tips? etc. etc. I think, though, that it belongs in another area of the forum, not in the review section. PM me if you have interest to discuss this.
