Visiting ICT. Info on Old town / Downtown area?

Going to Wichita area this weekend for the Junior Brown show at the Bartlett Arboretum.
Looking at a hotel near Delano area.
Just wondering how alert to be in the Old Town / DT area.
Not planning on any serious drinking or anything, just dining and walking a bit.
Also, there has to be a good affordable steak someplace other then the usual chain and high end joints. Maybe a family type restaurant with a good Strip or Sirloin ?
Already planning on The Old Mill Tasty Shop for a sandwich and a sundae :-)

Old Town is a decent area. Lot of good food and steaks nearby. The courtyard at old Town is nice!
I guess I should clarify that I really am looking for restaurant/ things to do recommendations and not a hook up :-)

It's well worth an uber to Scoth and Sirloin. But Sabor in old town is very good.

I was wondering if their might be a good family style restaurant or local tavern with a good steak dinner.
Fat Ernie's looks interesting.

Whiskey socks is a tavern with great food and one of the best high end whiskey selections around. River city brewery in old town is alright but no mainstream beers available.

Savute's Italian looks interesting.
Will probably check out Gangnam Korean grill also.
If you are into Ramen, Yokohama Ramen Izakaya over on Central is really pretty good. Avoid yokohama ramen joint.
