First time to Wichita 🥰

Well hello there. I have been thinking about making a trip up to Wichita sometime very soon and am wondering if you boys might be able to give me the run down on the best areas to host, places to steer clear from, good food and any fun things to do/see while I'm in town as I have never had the pleasure of visiting your city! All comments/ suggestions are welcome!
The west side of town is probably cheaper but always seems sketchy to me as I have heard/seen some things. East/central is nicer but maybe a little more costly at a few places. From your reviews hope you can make it out here we'd love to have you.
Check out Savutes for an affordable Italian / Steak dinner in a vintage setting .
Old Mill Tasty Shop for a sandwich and sundae.
Nifty Nut House for an unimaginable amount of goodies.

Savutes is 2 levels above eating at the city landfill. In my opinion

I had a nice sirloin steak dinner which included salad, a side of spaghetti and some excellent pumpernickel bread for $15.49.
