Best Margarita in San ‘tone

Now that the votes have been cast for the best Cheeseburger in Paradise, let’s take a pole for the best Margarita in the Alamo City… I have been gone for a few years but have ventured back to my hangouts…I am sure they have changed since I left so let’s get it started… all suggestions welcome, now I may have to dip into my hobby fund. Salt --- no salt, frozen --- on the rocks… let’s blend it up..
I need to find a place to take a certain “hottie” so we can indulge

Listen carefully young Jedi,
Only fresh squeezed lime juice, 2 shots tequila, 1 shot lime juice and 1 shot triple sec. Shake with ice or pour on ice. Never make it like a daiquiri and put in a blender as this dilutes the drink makes it foofy and they will think you grew up north of 410.

La Margarita down in Market Square, La Fagota off West Ave( I believe) & heck Cha-Cho's off Perrin-Bietel gets the job done.
I like the frozen ones, no salt. I have to agree with the travelingbro, La Fogata, ChaChos are very good. My favorite is Pappadeaux, Pappasitios, and Carrabas. The best margaritas in the world are in San Antonio. I have been to Margaritaville in one of those caribean islands, and I have had them in most of the Caribean islands, and all over the United States including Manhattan and noone has a better margarita than San Antonio. I believe we are the Margarita capital of the world.
I am taking notes…A great start, long ago I went to place in Leon Spring, 1993ish, it was behind Rudy's BBQ & had a SpringARita.... I dont remember a damn thing after that except the Green Eyed Red head with DD's that took me there.
Gents if you travel to Birmingham, Alabama, there is a place off 280 called “Superior Grill” I think it is a converted Papasitos, some kick ass ‘ritas in “The South” made by some good ‘ol boys..& great Tex Mex food… yes I said Alabama…
Cha Cha's
Boudro's...Prickly Pear margaritas are awesome

The problem with a lot of these places is that they substitute everclear for the second shot of tequila and the want to up-sell you on a bunch of liquors that cover up the nastiness. Decent tequila, fresh lime juice and a decent orange liqueur such as triple sec works perfectly as long as you have a woman that looked beautiful with you before you started drinking them (the margaritas that is).
Everclear will give you a hangover from hell too! I really miss going to the Margarita pour off. Did anyone go last year...and who won best margarita?
