It was a liberal meltdown on Twitter tonight and it was glorious

With one fell swoop, Elon's Twitter got the crazy ass leftist media clamoring about free speech

No more "twitter is a private company and can do what they want"

All because a group of really stupid crazy ass leftist journalists all broke the rules against doxxing and got suspended

Fucking glorious !!!!!

There is a new sheriff in town.

Do you remember when all these leftist media assholes laughed at conservatives who got banned for nothing. Now they are crying after getting banned for doxxing.

These idiots never thought it could happen to them.
Welcome to a new day !!!

LOL liberals are freaking out because Elon Musk is making one platform fair for both sides.

Twitter's head of trust & safety Ella Irwin noted: “Without commenting on any specific accounts, I can confirm that we will suspend any accounts that violate our privacy policies and put other users at risk."

Elon Musk confirms some left-wing accounts have been suspended for violating Twitter’s new doxxing policy

“Criticizing me all day long is totally fine, but doxxing my real-time location and endangering my family is not,” Musk tweeted.

Same doxxing rules apply to “journalists” as to everyone else
berryberry's Avatar
And then you have the really brain dead leftist morons like this idiot who intentionally try to get suspended

Ah, doxxing. That's a pretty cute excuse that you'll gladly swallow

But whatever. It was doxxing.

And it is amazing to watch you and the response of these garbage crybully leftist "journalists" after their friends get banned for doxxing to how they cheered when the New York Post was banned for doing journalism on the foreign business ties of Senile Biden's 50-year-old son.

Every single one of these hysterical psychopaths — every single one — cheered and supported the censorship of the NY Post. But if anyone merely suggests they abide by their own rules, they screech like the fucking babies they are

My commitment to free speech extends even to not banning the account following my plane, even though that is a direct personal safety risk Originally Posted by Elon Musk

The data doesn't even match up with a claim of real-time tracking of an individual, which Elon has claimed erroneously.

Show the proof before lecturing others about facts. No straw men. No sunk premises. No conjecture. No prima-facie case nonsense. The actual factual proof. Not what you desperately want to be true while you fake gorge yourself on imaginary tears.

Perhaps try Writer's Tears instead. A delightful Scotch that may help you find some mellow chill

You can't handle the truth - but here it is.. Now you can go whine more as you clearly do not understand their term's of service, or what can put someone at risk

Some excerpts From Twitter's Terms of Service

Overview

December 2022

You may not publish or post other people's private information without their express authorization and permission. We also prohibit threatening to expose private information or incentivizing others to do so.

In addition, you may not share private media, such as images or videos of private individuals, without their consent. However, we recognise that there are instances where users may share images or videos of private individuals, who are not public figures, as part of a newsworthy event or to further public discourse on issues or events of public interest. In such cases, we may allow the media to remain on the platform.

Sharing someone’s private information:

Sharing someone’s private information online without their permission, sometimes called doxxing, is a breach of their privacy and of the Twitter Rules. Sharing private information can pose serious safety and security risks for those affected and can lead to physical, emotional, and financial hardship.
When reviewing reports under this policy, we consider a number of things, including:

What type of information is being shared?

We take this into consideration because certain types of private or live information carry higher risks than others, if they’re shared without permission. Our primary aim is to protect individuals from potential physical harm as a result of their information being shared, so we consider information such as physical location and phone numbers to be a higher risk than other types of information. We define “live” as real-time and/or same-day information where there is potential that the individual could still be at the named location.

.
.
.

What is in violation of this policy?

Under this policy, you can’t share the following types of private information, without the permission of the person who it belongs to:

home address or physical location information, including street addresses, GPS coordinates or other identifying information related to locations that are considered private;

live location information, including information shared on Twitter directly or links to 3rd-party URL(s) of travel routes, actual physical location, or other identifying information that would reveal a person’s location, regardless if this information is publicly available;

identity documents, including government-issued IDs and social security or other national identity numbers – note: we may make limited exceptions in regions where this information is not considered to be private;

contact information, including non-public personal phone numbers or email addresses;

financial account information, including bank account and credit card details;

other private information, including biometric data or medical records;

media of private individuals without the permission of the person(s) depicted; and

media depicting prisoners of war posted by government or state-affiliated media accounts on or after April 5, 2022.

Glenn Greenwald - This is exactly what has happened in the last 16 hours or so. Nothing more complicated than this:

The same clique of “journalists” who’ve spent years cheering on, even demanding, that the state and Big Tech step in to censor and banish those they disagree with, are suddenly upset because @elonmusk removed a few of their colleagues.

I imagine one of the many reasons they were opposed to
@elonmusk’s takeover of Twitter, wasn’t out of any principled stance against such measures. but rather the realization that they wouldn’t be doing the banning anymore.

You fuck around and break the rules, you find out your are not special nor protected now being a crazy ass lib

CNN and NYT journalists and executives:

"Wait. When we were demanding more of this, we didn't mean that this should be done to *us*! This was supposed to be used only against right-wing cretins, conservative journalists, and other species of peasants -- not against **us**."

Yes, the crazy ass leftist "journalists" always believed the rules were never supposed to apply to them. They were only supposed to apply to the people who were conservative.

Now they found out "they are not special". So fucking sweet

None that really shows malicious intent or not being publicly available info berry. That's just you saying it's a lie. Which is, so basically bluster abd hot air.

But thanks for tossing some shit at the wall and pretending it sticks just because you say so.

No one disputed that he changed the TOS. So, yeah, good strawman

Shoot even the networks have gotten into the act

NBC News has suspended Ben Collins from appearing on air over his criticisms about Elon Musk the network considered to be “not editorially appropriate”

CNN has now BANNED Ben Collins from appearing on on-air over inappropriate attacks on Elon Musk

You're made a TOS argument no one was disputing. You failed on the rest because you have nothing to show and you conflate potential for harm with intent to harm while also showing nothing about how those trackers work, how the transponder data is gathered and cross-referenced against the tail numbers and the ownership records are addressed, nor do you show any current knowledge about how Elon could have addressed some of this with the FAA.

If you do decide to dig deeper, there are multiple well written, well researched articles on this cocked and ready to address your most likely counters.

Meanwhile, Elon has again proven to fall far short of being a free speech absolutist. This is the fundamental crux of the pushback. But you're not looking for fairness. You're looking for eye-for-an-eye retribution and that's what's being cheered on here as if two wrongs make a right.

It is amusing to see the censors become the censored. They brayed at the top of their lungs for CEOs to use this power, never realizing that it might be used on them.

Leftist journalists who pushed left wing propaganda spent years not only cheering on Big Tech's regime of censorship but demanding it. They told conservatives who wanted to do something about it to suck it up. Now a few of these crazy ass libs got suspended and they're falling on the sword of the first amendment.

Like most libs, they are completely full of shit.
