Elon's newest pole

Should I step down as head of Twitter?,” Musk wrote in a tweet.

“I will abide by the results of this poll,” he added.

What do you think?

I see it as a pretext to announce Jared Kushner as the new CEO of Twitter since they were doxxed together at the World Cup

"Though Musk's Twitter poll is a spectacle that will feed his persistent thirst for drama, it's ultimately meaningless. Musk has previously said he has no intention of continuing as Twitter's CEO indefinitely.

The poll also doesn't give any indication of a timeline.

Thus, if Twitter users vote for Musk to leave, he can pull the ripcord anytime that suits him while claiming he's humbly following the will of the people. If Twitter users vote for Musk to stay, he can hang around for however long he wants then step down as Twitter's much-beloved king making the ultimate sacrifice for a higher calling."

Please god, let him step down and install Trump as CEO. The liberal screeching will be heard on Mars.

After 17.5 million votes in Musk's poll 57% feel he should step down as Head of Twitter.

Coincidentally, Snoop has a poll up and he's currently sitting at 81% in favor of him running Twitter.

I think there are 2 salient points.

1. Elon likes to be the center of attention & is lacking in character almost as much as the orange buffoon.

2. Elon has either by intent or stupidity, created his exit strategy from Twitter.

It's intent. He signaled multiple times that he was going to find someone to lead Twitter for him.

Yes, I don't think, or hope, that his intention is/was to be at the forefront, and that someone else would eventually be the CEO.

I'd imagine this poll was also meant to draw a lot of attention from "bots".

No, he is an attention whore of the highest order. He appears to visibly wants to be seen doing what he's doing at Twitter and with Twitter.

Like some folks he seems to enjoy being a troll online and in real life. But he does also love money and he needs to get back to business.

He will still be the primary owner. Still control the company and still be provocative. He just won't handle the day-to-day
