Looking for things to do, places to wine/ dine & 1st time traveling out this way…

In Memphis, see above, anywhere good to post? From dallas and another site just went down. Considering headed south to jackson & then maybe the beach/ panhandle in Florida or north to Nashville. Eventually back home either through Arkansas or up to St. Louis & then through Joplin & Kansas City then Oklahoma.

I feel like everything is up in the air & just looking for suggestions.

While there ain't much touristy to do in Memphis besides music at night, there is a wide range of excellent restaurants. If you like traditional vietnamese or ethiopian, soul food & bbq, or high quality italian/french fusion, Memphis has the best.

What part of town and what do you enjoy doing? Memphis has great food and music.
