A moment of silence....

i_d, I would like it to be a moment of silence.
Perhaps a long time of reflection.

But I have to say that I won't be able to bear all the media they'll have going about it. Especially the rebroadcast of that day.

Don't think that I want to put it out of my mind. It's there. And everyday by the consequences of that affect us all everyday. Being a military town, you all know what I mean.

I hope it doesn't make me less of a person to want to isolate myself from all the reminders of that day.

Not at all Pb. I hate how the media force-feeds us these stories and people look down on me when I'm not draped in a flag with fire-rockets shooting out my ass. I'm not an patriot on special occasions. I'm a patriot every day. Fuck you Media!

On a side note I must say that 10 years go by really quick...
Isn't that the truth cowboy84! I watched an HBO presentation which was cool. The story was focused on the World Series...before...during...and after 9/11. I didn't watch baseball back then, so it was very touching to see how baseball brought healing to the city of NY...sad that the Yankees ended up losing to AZ though!
